Definitions

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements:

“Client”, “You”, “Your” and “User” refers to you, the person logged on to this website and compliant to the MASA’s terms and conditions.

“Ourselves”, “We”, “Our”, “Us” and “Provider”, refers to our (MASA’s) Non-Profit Organisation.

“Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the User (You) and ourselves.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the User in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the User’s needs in respect of provision of the Non Profit Organisations stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of South Africa, including the National Disaster Management Act 57 of 2002 and the Regulations thereto.

Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Your use of the website

You confirm/ agree that you will not use this website for any unlawful purpose, including committing any criminal offence, gaining unauthorised access to other computer systems, websites or transmitting any unlawful material.

The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute Content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the prior written consent of MASA.

E-Commerce & Privacy

The private information required for processing of donations or contributions using the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information; credit card details and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by MASA and not sold or made known to third parties.

MASA undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payments or donations. However, MASA cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

MASA shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users.

For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

Limited License to General Users

This Website and the Content may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, resold, visited or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express prior written consent of MASA.

The limited license of use, does not allow the User to collect product or service listings, descriptions or other information displayed here, and does not allow any derivative use of this Website or the Content for the benefit of another merchant. The User may not frame nor use framing technologies to enclose the Provider Website or the Content nor any part thereof without the express written consent of MASA.
