The #VacciNation site situated at the Houghton Masjid on 45 West Street opened with much excitement and a special visit from Premier David Makhura, officials from the Department of Health, the leadership of Muslim Association of South Africa and the Houghton Masjid were all in attendance.
As part of the this important and much anticipated moment, the Houghton #VacciNation drive-thru site and Premier Makhura also honoured it’s oldest volunteer, Dr Seedat who turns 90 in a few days.
