Like it or not, Eid this year will be in a restricted manner.

Ramadan 2020 has been like no other. Coupled with a global pandemic like nothing we have ever seen before, with it the deeply painful inequalities across our country have been highlighted.

Instead of our usual duties and responsibilities to our communities during the Holy month of Ramadan our, the overwhelming response from donors matched with committed volunteers gave us the opportunity to see to the needs of many, many more. Addressing a hunger crisis, social challenges and a national lockdown has only been possible because of our donors, sponsors and the incredible partners who have made this service possible.

Like it or not, Eid this year will be in a restricted manner.

Allow us to take this opportunity on behalf of the Muslim Association of South Africa and our volunteers to Thank each and every individual, organisation and partner who has been a part of the work we have achieved as a collective.

To our partners, donors, volunteers and committed team, a blessed Eid Mubarak! – May Allahs blessings be with you today, tomorrow and always.
