السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته 

It is neither their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is your piety that reaches Allah. Thus has He made them subservient to you, that you may glorify Allah because He has caused you to attain Hidayat. And give glad tidings to the Al-Muhsinûn (those who have submitted their physical bodies to Allah). (Surah Haj verse 37)

May Allah accept yours and your families sacrifices. Aameen.

We must also take this opportunity to remember all of our loved ones in our dues who did not make it to celebrate with us today. Duaas for the people of Palestinian in Gaza and the West Bank, those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic & our local community affected by the unrest & looting in South Africa. For all people, Muslim and not, facing hardships in this life. May Allah grant his mercy upon us all in the Hereafter.
